With all of the baby boomers at or near retirement age, you would think there would be plenty of age-restricted patio homes and villas to choose from. Unfortunately, the opposite is true! There are only a handful of communities, and there are only a few active listings at any point in time. You may see some communities with nice, one-level attached homes that look like they would be for seniors, but they are for all ages--which is great! The main idea is to have everything you need on one level so you can age in place and not have to move again.
