Second Quarter 2019 and August 2019

Our local multiple listing service (MLS) released a video with statistics for the second quarter of 2019. The 2-minute video is shown below. These statistics are for our entire Kansas City metropolitan area. For Johnson County, Kansas--my specialty--the statistics for this year versus this time last year are as follows:
  • Number of Homes Sold is up 0.6% 
  • Average Sales Price is up 2.3% 
  • Median Sales Price is up 6.8%
  • Days on Market is up 8.3%, surprisingly
  • Inventory is 10.7% less
