: Coming Soon in the Kansas City area means that the owner/seller of the home has signed a listing agreement with a real estate broker. The seller is just getting the home ready to put on the market. Coming Soon signs give you a phone number to call the listing agent, but you cannot view the home online or in person. Only licensed agents in our local real estate board can see the Coming Soon listings in our MLS (multiple listing service).
In July, Deb Staley is listing a unique, front-to-back split-level home in the highly desirable neighborhood of Brittany Valley in Shawnee, Kansas. What makes this home unique and valuable? Here you go: In 2016, a storage building was added that has electricity and a workshop—what a useful amenity! The updated master bathroom features double vessel sinks and a sliding barn door. The walkout lower level contains the family room, a full bathroom, and an office (or possible 4th bedroom). The laundry closet is on that level. There is even a sub-basement for storage. The updated kitchen has granite countertops and stainless appliances. Having different levels and living areas allows for space and privacy for all. Backyard living is easy with a 192-foot deck and a privacy fence all around; the lot is nearly a quarter of an acre! To top it off, there is no HOA (homeowner’s association) to pay or hassle with. The home was built in 1997.
Deb Staley will be having a newer townhome for sale in the Piper area soon. It has 2 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. The third bathroom is in the basement, which has an egress window and can have another bedroom built there. There is no HOA in this townhome subdivision, Highlands at Piper. You only have a little bitty yard to mow and you can do it with a weed eater.
