Selling a home in today’s low-inventory real estate market is easy and fun. Just kidding! It is still a lot of work and might not be as fast as you would think.
There has never been a better time to sell because of record-low inventory, but some homes still languish on the market. Why is that? Buyers have unrealistically high expectations, possibly because of watching too many home décor shows. Some sellers want to price their homes the same as the homes that have all the updates and amenities, and that just does not work out.
If your home has:
then it will sell right away, and probably for more than asking price. Anything other than this, and it is a crap shoot. Did I mention that buyers have crazy-high expectations?
Let me help you price your home right and make the most of its good qualities. I won’t list a house at an unreasonable price, just to get my sign in your yard. (I also don’t charge extra commission or fees!) My real estate office gives me excellent support, and I will personally handle your transaction from start to finish. You won’t be shuffled off onto some other team member. When I list a home, I hire a professional architectural photographer to shoot the photos in high dynamic range (HDR). Many agents will just do your photos with their phone, and that is no good! You can see the difference between photos I shot with my good camera and the ones done by a pro in HDR.
Just make a no-obligation appointment with me, and I will give you some tips and go over the market stats in your area. Learn about my credentials and experience here. Here is the basic process for selling a home.
